Three Months

tummy time on mommy's and daddy's bed

Jack was officially three months old on April 21st! He is such a smiling happy baby and a total joy. We cannot imagine our life without him! Jack sleeps through the night and is totally a morning person! That smile just makes our day. Mommy went back to work (*sigh*) this week but Jack loves going to Miss Sarah's and playing with Anna, James, and Matthew...and apparently they are big fans of Jack, too. :) Jack loves tummy time and playing on his play mat. He can pull on his little toys and make them sing and make sounds. He typically naps for 45 minutes in the morning and then for two hours in the afternoon. Jack is quite the "talker" too. He loves to join in on the conversations and he is a big guy...already in 6 month clothes! We are celebrating Jack on Sunday at his christening and can't wait to share this special day with family and friends. He is an absolute darling and we are so blessed!

Easter

What's in this basket?
I got books, and toys, and clothes!

Easter Sunday dawned bright and sunny and quite warm. We made it over to church (thank you Daddy for saving seats!) and Jack was quite the cutie in his Sunday best and hat. And you know you did well when the little old ladies come up and tell you how cute your baby is and how well behaved. ;) After church we visited with Mom-Mom, Cousin Shelby and Aunt Stacey. Then it was off to Aunt Jillian's for a yummy dinner with Gigi, Mia, Uncle Dan, and the new puppy, who we discovered knew exactly what to do for the camera. We did our annual Easter egg hunt with Gigi taking the grand prize!

Of course, it was so warm after church that we let Jack hang out in his onesie and never did put his Easter finest back on him...so some of the pics were taken Monday morning. Mommy lesson: take the pictures before church next time!

Happy Easter everyone! HE is risen indeed!
